Sitting here, staring at the cursor…. blink… blink… blink…
It sits there, mocking me, with its silent blinking.
My computer, getting bored, spins up its hard drive, looking for something better to do, bored with waiting for my input….
blink…. blink… blink…
I need to write something, if I don't get this finished now, I just have to write more later.
Hmmmmm….
And the computer still sits there, waiting… It has gotten so bored that the virus scanner has come up and starts scanning

Awakening the next morning from a thankfully dreamless sleep, Orion hovered up out of bed and concentrated to assume his human form. Gently landing on the plush, deep royal purple, carpet that covered his bedroom floor, he wiggled his now sensitive human toes, reveling in the feeling of the carpet fiber between them. Walking over to his dresser and mirror, he studied his human face that looked back. His large eyes stared back at him, purple irises slightly dilated in the dim light.
